Mr. Thrifty Tip #5: Use the “Refused- Return to Sender” trick
One simple trick that Mr. Thrifty has used to reduce junk mail is to write “Refused- Return to Sender” on the unopened envelope and drop it back into his mailbox (no, Return to Sender is not just an Elvis song). When you do this, the junk mail gets returned back to the sender. The best part is that the SENDER has to pay for the return postage of the junk mail. Not only are you sending them a message that you want to be off of their junk mail lists but you make them pay for it! Beautiful!
