Mr. Thrifty Principle #6: Ask for references

Another way you can investigate movers is to ask for references. Some people skip this step when shopping for a mover because they feel that a mover is not going to give any references who are going to say bad things about them. However, Mr. Thrifty feels that just having a list is a positive sign. If you want to be sneaky and get a really good feel of the quality of a mover, ask for a reference where something went wrong with the move. One’s real character is revealed when things don’t happen as planned.
